During a view of a new blogg of interest on blogger, I found Drawing Day, a neat website dedicated to encouraging people to take one day out a year to draw and submit their artwork online. This year it was June 7, but the idea seems to be spawned interest amongst multiple communities, with numerous groups being a part of the action this year. The trend for creative persons to involve themselves in challenges is not new to the web, but it has taken some time for certain groups to gain interest. On a daily basis forums post challenges for artists, writers and musicians to create some new and exciting, to learn new techniques and to hone their skills. There is so much support for each participant as well, thus enabling much of the time to be lessened for learning about their art. And although not all participants are going to learn everything from the process, there will be some improvement by participating in such activities. So why not get involved in a creative challenge website today?
